VETCON 2018 CANCELLED

In the run-up to VETCON 2018 , we have experienced a number of significant challenges that we have been working hard every day to overcome. Despite our best efforts, we have to cancel VETCON 2018. This is not a decision we’ve come to lightly.

We remain passionate and committed about VETCON and the community we serve, and offer our sincerest apologies any inconvenience caused by cancelling VETCON 2018.

We’re planning a social event for the local community on during the first week of October.

STAY TUNED!

Best,

Phil Dillard | Co-Founder & CEO - VETCON

WHAT’S NEXT

First, we’re going to take care of people who already bought tickets. We will send a separate email to everyone who already bought tickets and/or flights to discuss how to make them whole.

Second, we’re planning a social event for the local community on during the first week of October (on Wednesday or Thursday of the same week as the original event). We’d love to see you there so we can talk face to face. We already have at least one venue and will share more information about it shortly. Please let us know if you are interested in joining us.

Third, we’re shutting down the 2018 event, but we’re not shutting down VETCON. We’re going to shift our planning now to build momentum for VETCON 2019 next spring.

Fourth, we’ve learned a lot over the past year…and we’re putting it all to use. We’re restructuring the organization based on the lessons we’ve learned, and are looking to build the right team so that we can follow up on the opportunity we’ve identified. In our next website update, you’ll see what who is taking which roles and in which areas we need help.

We remain passionate and committed about VETCON and the community we serve. We are extremely disappointed about the outcomes for 2018, but will use the lessons learned to redouble our efforts going forward. We hope to see you in the future and look forward to what comes next.
